Colours – Farben

Another German Lesson for Beginners. I just have here few colors for you to start with. And the rest will be your assignment :) .

Red == rot

Blue == Blau [au - as in ough in "plough"]

Grey == Grau

Dark == dunkel

Gold == Gold

Black == Schwarz [sch-as sh in "ship"]

White == Weiss

Green == Gruen [u -as the u in "june"]

Light == hell

Silver == Silber

Yellow == Gelb

Purple == lila [i -as ee in "bee"]

Orange == Orange

Copper == Kupfer [pf- similar to f]

Vermilion == Zinnober

Onion Festival Photos

This one is another post of Onion Market in Bern,Switzerland celebrated every November. On that day, me and my kids went to Bern to witness the celebration, there where many people in city even though it was so cold because of the Snow and I found out that the Onion Market started at 5am in the morning, it’s earlier than i expected. Zibelemärit (onion market)

Today is the Onion Festival here in Bern, Switzerland. Every 4th Monday of November, the people here celebrates this kind of festival where Onions are sold in Onion Market. And the people go to the market in the early morning and throw confetti. They also hit other people with hammers made out of plastic as part of the celebrations.
